More aligned with the social & spiritual philosophy of the American Revolution than Eastern beliefs, DSL embraces primarily the Western psycho-philosophical and spiritual traditions, yet is informed by Essential Insights from the East. . . . And the New Testament concept of Naphsha introduces the West's missing link to meditation. . . . . This overall approach puts primary responsibility on each Individual to take care of him or her Self AND fellow Human Beings WITHOUT authoritarian control, and, in the spirit of Yogic Ahimsa, without coercion, fraud or violence. Although we might find help and authoritative experts along the way, and learn from and/or work very cooperatively with many others, it is our Path to travel in our own way. No one can do it for us. . . . As Krishnamurti said: "Truth is a Pathless Land."
