Using this Website

Thank You for taking the time to visit my website about The DSL Method of Let-Go Yoga. This page will give you the Basic Information and Directions on how to get the most out of this website. If you prefer, of course, feel free to browse at random. You will find links to most of what’s here on the left and right sidebars, and the top naviagation bar, of most pages. However, you might find it helpful to read along below and get the Overview before going further. Whichever you prefer is okay by me. It’s just that a few people told me there was too much information here, and they were a bit overwhelmed trying to figure it all out. So I think it can be useful to have a guided tour of sorts. You can also go to the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Page, if you like. Okay, on with the Show.

#1. What Kind of Information Is This? Glad you asked. There are a couple of things. A.) When I was doing live trainings, there was a lot of material that could have been delivered without you having to travel somewhere, me pay for a big room and you pay for lodging, and other such expenses. When the internet came about, I realized that about half of what I taught in the live seminar room could be delivered electronically. So you get a LARGE amount of the information at a VERY reduced cost to you. B.) So many people said the stuff I was teaching needed to be much more widely known. At the rate I as going, it would have taken me 12 years to train only 12 groups of 12 people. That’s 144 people in 12 years!!! And maybe another hundred people a year could get some basics in my introductory workshops. How Efficient is THAT . . . ?!?! So yes, there are a lot of things that must be felt and/or seen in person to really GET it. But this way, with the amazing power of the internet and your computer, far more people can get far more of this information than if I tried to do it all live. Like . . . by THOUSANDS!!! Essentially, then, you will, over time, if you have a computer and internet access, be getting access to about half of what I used to teach people in live trainings. PLUS, there is all the stuff I think or read about that I have comments on that there is not enough time for in the live trainings. When you DO come to a live training (hint, hint) we will be able to focus on the stuff that can only be done live. So your investment in time, energy and money will be far more efficient and effective. So yes, there are a lot of things that must be felt and/or seen to really GET it. But this way, far more people can get far more of this information than if I tried to do it all live and in-person. Essentially, then, you will, over time, be getting access to about half of what I teach people in live trainings. PLUS, there is all the stuff I think or read about on a daily basis that I have comments on that there is not enough time for in the live trainings. When you DO come to a live training (Hint, Hint) we will be able to focus on the stuff that can only be done live. So your investment in time, energy and money will be far more efficient and effective.

#2. Blog Based — This website is based on Blogging software. If you are new to that term, the Blog (short for Web Log) software allows me to conveniently add new information for you to read on a regular and frequent basis. It also makes it easier to catalog, and therefore you can later on go back to and find, specific articles and information. That’s the theory, anyway. And I hope you’ll let me know if it isn’t working as intended. Bottom Line is that any time you want to see what my latest thoughts are, just go to the Main Blog Page and you’ll see the latest article or item listed. You can also post comments or questions to articles, as well. I have the software set so I can make sure spam (junk e-mail) does not get listed, so it might be a few hours to a day or two before your post comes up for viewing. If you do not want to make it public, you can, if you like, email me with a question or comment. I am only one guy, and I have, at present, NO IDEA how busy this site will get, but I will do my best to answer or address any issues that come up.

#3. FREE for Now — Until I have this site working correctly, everything here will be available at no charge. If you copy and forward any material, all I ask is that you include my name and website address so people can find out the source of the material, and visit the website if they so desire. #4. But later . . . Membership — Once the website gets fully loaded with information and is organized, and the bugs worked out, I will be going to a Paid Membership format. There will still be a lot of free information. However, that will be the basic ideas, data and commentary. Those who want more in-depth information on those topics will be able to choose between different levels of access. I will also be uploading video based tutorials and presentations that will be available at a somewhat higher level of cost. Let’s face it. It would be nice to keep it free. Yet, I will be spending MANY hours per week on this, and the plan is for this to be my main source of livelihood, and the vehicle for distributing my ideas and knowledge. So yes, there will be a charge. But it will be a relatively SMALL monthly charge on your credit card, and it will be VERY reasonable. There will also be an agreement on how much, and whether or not, you can forward the information to other people. Yes, I know, people want information to be free. But ask yourself, how high of a quality do you think information will be if its all free? Who could afford the large amounts of time and expense it takes to find, research, assimlate, process and distribute lots of high quality information if the end user (that’s You) was not paying at least part of the costs? #5. #6 Okay . . .
