Reworking the Website — Temporary Glitches

Hello! I don’t know if you’ve been here before, but the process of bringing this website to life has been a slow, expensive, and slightly painful one. But it IS coming on-line, slow but sure.

I must admit that part of the slowdown is I get distracted by the idea of working with other people whom I think I can work with to build something far bigger than either of us could do alone. I did this repeatedly over the last several years. And cost was EXTREMELY high. Suffice it to say that I miscalculated — Big Time — and lost almost a two years of time, and a lot of money.

The Lesson? –People have been telling me for years that what I do stands on its own, and I need to stop looking for partners or associates or whatever that distract me from just bringing The DSL Method of Yoga & Bodywork on-line. I should have looking to get it out to the world, even if I had to go it alone.

For what it’s worth, if you are in a similar situation, and are resisting letting the curtain come up on The Show of Your Life or Business, don’t. I resisted the curtain coming up on my show for many years, and the cost to me and to all the people who could have benefited if I had just forged ahead with my own plans is immense.

I like working with people, but I guess the Universe is telling me I need to one-pointedly focus on what I have spent about 30 years developing. I need to use willpower to not try to attach my work to other people or organizations.

Now that I am focusing about 30 hours a week on making this website work, and with all the research I’ve been doing, it looks like I made some BIG strategic errors in organizing how the site is laid out. I think that will take me about a two weeks to remedy. A lot of it is behind the scenes, so you might notice a lot of it, but its there. And I am just learning how to do all this stuff, from scratch.

SO . . . If you have signed up for newletters and e-courses and stuff, you will be getting things from me, but they might be a little slow in getting to you. I hope that’s okay with you.

And if you come to the site and its not working right, or a lot of links are not working, please cut me some slack. It will take one, possibly two weeks to get it all workways again.<>/p
