Back in the Saddle — And HI to Kyle!

Hello Everyone … !

Been a while since my last posts. I was getting so close to going live and public, but ran into a BUNCH of glitches. Too many to elaborate on here. A lot to do with software problems on my Mac, but not insurmountable.
Anyway, just had a conversation with a friend of mine — Kyle Wright, owner of the five Southeast Schools of Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy — who has done more than most with what he learned from me many years ago about bodywork. He was already an astute student of the top neuromuscular and bodywork systems out there. He did not need to make any changes in his system of practicing and teaching, but he did.
To his credit, after taking a weekend workshop with me back in the mid-nineties, he went home and on Monday morning announced to his school and students that he was restructuring his cirriculum based on what he had learned from me that weekend. That takes guts and commitment to truth to stand up in front of your students and tell them  they are changing course mid-stream. — But he did it.
He now has five very successful schools in Florida and North and South Carolina, and is on the verge of even bigger and better things.

In our conversation, he helped re-inspire me to remember the value of what I teach and do in the world, so I'm feeling re-energized about things.

So we are talking about doing some things together in the not-too-distant future. … And, he reminded me that what I am teaching needs to get out into the world, as soon as possible.

Just for the record, learning 4 or 5 brand new skills — website development, guerilla marketing, internet marketing, computer graphics, and copy-writing for convincing people they need your ideas — not to mention just keeping the computer and software functioning correctly, are all specialized, in-depth skills. They take a long time to learn.

Studying those topics, plus trying to stay on top of all the new developments in the yoga and bodywork worlds, and wholistic health, and all the relevant sciences, has, frankly, been a HUGE undertaking. And VERY expensive.

But my goal is to be able to deliver what I know to you as directly as possible, without the middleman or woman. I am learning how to create direct relationships with my students and clients, and those who are thinking about becoming students and clients.

(Well, if Kyle wants to be a middle-man, I will consider that!)

So I need to know how to run this equipment and interact with you as best as possible, and at as low a cost as possible. So bear with me and this whole thing will be up and running pretty soon.

Thanks for Reading,
David Scott Lynn
